Earth Day on Jersey Street Beautification Project

The Jersey Street Merchant Association will host an Earth Day event on April 27, 2019 Noon in the lot across from Columbia Meat Market. The event is designed to beautify Jersey Street by planting the tree beds with colorful flowers that will bloom all year long. There will be food and giveaways for every volunteer who helps us plant plus entertainment by Red Storm Drum & Dance Troupe who will display Native American artifacts and tell the story of Native Americans of Staten Island & New York. The event is free and all are welcome.

The Jersey Street Merchant Association along with the Verrazano Kiwanis Club, Mt. Sinai Church and the Staten Island Downtown Alliance will host it’s 2nd annual holiday party for neighborhood families. The event will take place at 382 Jersey Street at 6pm on December 14th. All are welcome to enjoy food, fun and holiday cheer. Children 16 and younger will be able to visit with Santa and receive a gift.  The event was the brain child of Columbia Meat Market owner Vincent Chirico and SIDA Project Manager Wayne McDougall. Jersey Street Merchant Association 1st Annual Holiday Party

On Friday December 16, 2016 the Jersey Street Merchant Association will host its first annual Christmas Party at 382 Jersey Street.  The party will include gifts from Santa, food, music and fun for the whole family.  Admission is free.  The event is being sponsored by: The Jersey Street Merchant Association with assistance from Councilwoman Debi Rose, Mt. Sinai Christian Church, NYC Small Business Services and the Staten Island Downtown Alliance.
